Black Wolf, White Wolf

Choosing loving kindness over justice.

I call my black wolf: justice. There certainly are times for black wolf energy. When survival dictates the need to defend. Other times, it’s my wounded ego self-righteous seeking revenge. Often the revenge is misplaced. It’s occurring in the present fueled by the past. It’s disproportionate to today’s events. It’s conducted against today’s transgressor.

White wolf is loving kindness, my higher self.

We are most human when we are kind. Kindness is a gift from compassion with nothing in return other than the good self-love we feel when kind.

The key here is: choice. Being in my adult I can make the choice for loving kindness. And in doing so, strengthen my embrace on inherent goodness and innocence. Black wolf hungers for blood. White wolf: peace. Which are you?
